H-Option form |
Student will pick up (or download) this form in the Honors College office, fill it out in consultation with the professor, sign it, obtain the signature of the professor and the major department chair or dean, and then turn it in to the SCHC office. |

To ensure that the SC Honors College office knows which honors students will graduate each semester, all candidates for graduation must complete this form. |

Undergraduate Research Fellowship & Scholars Program Application |
The South Carolina Honors College provides funding to facilitate students working for a professor as part of their research program. The stipend will be equivalent to $3000 per academic year. The purpose of the Fellowship is to enable students to become familiar with an area of research as a possible source for a senior thesis project. Undergraduate Scholarship Timecard |
Timecard for submitting hours under the Science Undergraduate Research Fellowship and Exploration Scholars Programs. Hours not reported in a timely fashion(within 30 days will not be paid. Hours reported may not exceed 150 per Fall or Spring semester ( no more than 15 per week), or 300 per summer (no more than 40 per week). Timecards Must be signed by your mentor in order to be processed. |

Travel
Support Grant |
Travel Grants can be used to offset the costs of travel to and from a conference where you are presenting your research. It can also be used for travel necessary for research and other appropriate educational purposes. Applications MUST be submitted and approved before the trip so that a Travel Authorization can be completed by the SCHC before the trip. State law forbids retroactive Travel Authorizations. Only SCHC students in good standing in the college may apply for this support. Please see Honors Travel Grant guidelines for more information. |
