  Honors Book Club
News and Announcements

SHCH has started its own book club and will read four novels this year. Become a member of the book club and participate either on the day of the event or by visiting online. The schedule of meetings and books can be found here.

    Class Connections
Stay connected with other fellow graduates through the Class Connections initiative that aims to get alumni more involved and connected to the College and to each other. We hope this new chapter in our institution’s history will galvanize the role of the Honors College as a place for students past and present to show their loyalty, expand their horizons, and to call home.
  Honors Alumni Profiles

HAP is a social and professional network of graduates of the SCHC. Browse the profiles to see what's happening in the lives of Honors College alumni.  HAP is also a useful resource for current students interested in exploring career options; considering potential employers; identifying graduate school options; and networking with SCHC graduates for advice.

SCHC has partnered with the USC Career Center to assist alumni and their employers in identifying and hiring qualified candidates for internships and full time positions. Your organization can post positions; search for student resumes, encourage students to submit their resumes to you electronically; schedule on-campus interviews; and register for USC Career Fairs by visiting the following links:
Post Jobs and Search for Resumes: http://www.sc.edu/career/findingcandidates.html
Schedule On-Campus Interviews: http://www.sc.edu/career/oncampusrecruiting.html
Register for Career Fairs: http://www.sc.edu/career/jobfairs2.html

Job shadowing enables a student to spend a day or just an hour with an alumni, so they can make important decisions about the major or career path they’ve chosen. If you are interested in learning more about the Job Shadowing program, please visit:http://www.sc.edu/career/jobshadowing.html

For more information on advertising your positions and finding candidates, please visit the Career Center webpage: http://www.sc.edu/career/
