What is Service-Learning? |
|
| |
Service-learning provides students with an opportunity to combine academic instruction with active participation in thoughtfully organized community service. |

How does Service-Learning differ from volunteerism? |
|
| |
Initially, USC Honors College students may appear to be very similar to other volunteers in your agency. However, it is important to remember the academic component included with the service to the community agency. Students are expected to have hands on experience that is directly relevant to their academic coursework. |
