Rachel is originally from Mount Pleasant, SC, and completed her undergraduate and graduate careers at USC. She graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's in criminal justice and a minor in Spanish. One moment that she believes helped shape her undergraduate career was studying Spanish abroad in Costa Rica during her junior year. Rachel was also an active member of the Carolina Judicial Council which sparked her passion for working with students. She received a master's degree in higher education & student affairs in 2016 and served as a graduate assistant for Gamecock Gateway and the Office of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity. After graduating Rachel served as the first-year advisor for undeclared students in the College of Arts & Sciences prior to her current role as a pre-med advisor in the South Carolina Honors College. In her free time, Rachel enjoys hot yoga, large puzzles, spending time with family and friends and trying new restaurants.
