Dear Alumni and Friends:
Our students have wrapped up final exams and are setting off for home as the holiday season gets into full swing. The end of the semester brought with it some fun news about what our students have been doing, and I hope you will enjoy reading about their accomplishments below.
As we ring in the new year, we will also be ringing in a new season of alumni awards. The Honors College's Distinguished Honors Alumni Award, and the Carolina Alumni Association's Awards nomination season will be upon us soon! Be thinking about who you might want to nominate! Nominations for the Honors College's alumni award will begin in January, but the Carolina Alumni Association has begun taking nominations for their series of awards. For more information, click here. CAA Award Nominations are due February 28, 2012.
Happy Reading,
Doreen RinehartDirector of Alumni Relations
