Big Trees and Wide Coasts

We’ve found that walking is one of our favorite ways to see a city. The public transportation gives a clue as to how livable a city actually is, but if you’re exploring for a few days, walking is the way to go. You end up getting turned around a bit and see more than you ever expected and meet people along the way when you ask for directions and suggestions. And the fact that it’s free and you exercise along the way makes it even more appealing.
