Personal Amenities

The new Honors Residence offers convenient living options for conscientious students. The residence hall is made up of single and double rooms arranged in "pods" with community areas in each pod. Bathrooms are semi-private and shared by 2 to 4 students.

Room Amenities

Features include:

  • Rooms sized 9' x 16' (single), 12' x 16' (double)
  • Bathroom sized 7' x 8' with shower and toilet
  • Data and cable connection for each resident
  • In-room sinks (double)
  • Closets sized 48" x 72"
  • Movable furniture including beds, dressers, and desks
  • Individual room controlled air-conditioning/heating
  • Blinds
  • Available phone connection (fees may apply)

Living Room Amenities

Living rooms are shared by 10-12 students and include:

  • Carpet
  • Tables
  • Chairs
  • Couch

Study rooms are also available for every 12-24 students.

Security

Access to the first floor of the Honors Residence Hall is open to the public (class rooms, cafeteria, game room). However, only residents of the building have access to the residential floors.  Students visiting the Honors Residence Hall must be accompanied by a resident at all times.

Additional Facilities

Honors Residence KitchenHonors Residence is committed to providing many conveniences for its residents.  Additional facilities available for students include:

  • A kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and sink
  • Elevators
  • Laundry room
  • Vending machine
  • Indoor bicycle room with shower
  • Cafeteria and cafe
  • Game room
