Kugels & Collards celebrates Southern, Jewish foodways in South Carolina
Kugels & Collards, published by USC Press in August 2023, explores the unique culinary and cultural traditions of South Carolinian Jews. Through oral and written histories and recipes, the book preserves and celebrates the stories of the people who have shaped the Southern Jewish table.
Transfer students find their home at Carolina
Jump Start was designed as an initiative of Graduation and Retention Network (GARNET) to improve transfer student retention rates and academic outcomes. The program allows transfer students to acclimate to the campus community and get a head start on coursework the summer before starting classes.
