Contemporary U.S. Poetry, Ecocriticism
Within the field of contemporary poetry, Elizabeth's interests include documentary poetry, ecopoetry, and poetry by women. Her current research explores how U.S. poetry makes the inextricable relationship of modernity and energy systems visible through representations of fossil fuel extraction, transportation, and use. She served as Assistant Director of the Writing Center from 2019-20.
