1. Public Librarianship
The iSchool invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level to begin August 16, 2023. Candidates with a specialization in public librarianship and one or more of the following will be considered:
- Youth services and programming.
- Adult services and programming.
- Community outreach and library services to underserved populations.
- Social justice issues.
- Intellectual freedom.
- Emerging technologies.
- Leadership and advocacy
- Collection development and management.
2. Data Science
The iSchool invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level to begin August 16, 2023. Successful candidates will be expected to expand on one or more of the following areas in data science:
- Applied Data and Text Mining.
- Applied AI and Machine Learning (ML).
- Critical Data Studies.
- User Experience, Information Architecture.
- Web and Mobile Application Development.
- Social Network Analysis.
School of Information Science
