The College of Education, including its faculty, staff and students, continuously
advances its research and scholarship. The work involved with generating grant submissions,
handling post-award processes, conducting research, publishing, editing, reviewing,
and engaging in all other forms of scholarship reflects the collaboration and support
of everyone in the College of Education family.
Recent Research Developments
So far in 2019/20, we have submitted 56 external grant proposals for a potential total
of nearly $20 million and have received 40 grant awards totaling over $9 million.
The college currently has 64 active grant projects totaling nearly $26 million.
Approximately 40% of our faculty are involved in currently funded research.
We had nearly 270 faculty publications in 2019 (including accepted and in press work).
