Program Summary

The International Student Internship Program gives international students the opportunity to pursue a full-time course of study at the University of South Carolina’s College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management followed by an internship in the United States. Students gain academic enrichment and career experience with industry and education professionals in a leading tourism region of the United States.

International students will enjoy taking college courses, improving their English language skills, experiencing a new culture, and gaining U.S. work experience.

Minimum GPA	2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Class Standing	Undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior
Language Experience	Required TOEFL score of 77 IBT (550 PBT), a score of 6.5 on the IELTS, or 53 on the PTE
Areas of Study	Hospitality, Tourism, Events, Retailing
Credit Hours	Minimum of 12, maximum of 15
Program Length	6 months to 1 year
