
Athletic Training
The athletic training program has a reputation of excellence in preparing students to work as athletic trainers in a variety of clinical settings. We take great pride in preparing our students through outstanding clinical, classroom, and lab experiences.
Graduate Degrees
The Arnold School of Public Health offers two degree options in athletic training that encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of
emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions to minimize subsequent
impairments and functional limitations.
M M.S. in Athletic Training
The Arnold School offers a Master of Science in Athletic Training (pending approval by CHE and SACS) for students who are passionate about sports medicine and sports science. Graduates from our M.S. in Athletic Training will be able to contribute as a healthcare provider within the larger context of a changing healthcare system.

M M.S. in Advanced Athletic Training
The Arnold School offers a Master of Science in Advanced Athletic Training for already certified athletic trainers who are looking for advanced preparation in the field of athletic training. Students applying for this degree must already be a certified athletic trainer by the BOC.
